This Original Petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities in the name of P.S.Krishnaswamy, the late husband of the 1st petitioner and the father of the 2nd petitioner, who died intestate died on 23.01.2022. The petitioners are the only legal heirs of the deceased, P.S.Krishnaswamy.

2.After following due procedure, the petitioners were invited to tender evidence. Accordingly, the 1st petitioner examined herself as PW-1 and she marked the Death Certificate and the Legal Heirship Certificate of her husband as Exs.P1 and P2. The document relating to the securities was marked as Ex.P3.

3.In view of the evidence adduced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of the petitioners in accordance with the rules.
