Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the dilapidated condition of the building which situated on the main road of Arulmigu Angalamman Temple at Annur, Coimbatore District by encroaching the main road considering the representation dated 27.1.2017.

(Order of the Court was made by the Acting Chief Justice) Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that Sri Angalamman Temple is a family temple and he is one of the Pangalis of the said temple. It is stated that the temple authorities are constructing a compound wall through donor fund and approval was granted for the same. It is further stated that there are dilapidated shops near the temple and unless the shops are demolished, compound wall cannot be constructed. The petitioner sent a representation on 27.1.2017 to the respondent authorities stating that dilapidated shops should be removed and thereafter construction of compound wall should be done. However, no action was taken by the respondent/authorities. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Considering the narrow scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, we direct the respondent/authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.1.2017 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
