The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to issue a writ of certiorari, calling for the records of the 5th respondent in his notice dated 25th May 2007 and quash the same as illegal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted before this Court that the writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
