2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is already retired from the service. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication, and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

4. In view of the submission coupled with the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
