ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction against the respondents to consider his application to register him as Contractor of Highways Department in the appropriate category.

2. The petitioner had given a representation on 25.11.2023 along with the required certificates. But, so far the representation of the petitioner has not been considered and no order has been passed. Since the first respondent is the decision making authority on the representation given by the petitioner, it is appropriate that the representation of the petitioner should be considered in accordance with the existing rules and orders should be passed.

3. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is obligatory on the part of the petitioner to produce the required documents for consideration of the petitioner in accordance with the rules.

4. In view of the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No

costs.
