ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the same within the time frame fixed by this Court by permitting this petitioner to participate for physical fitness test conducted for the post of GR-II - PC, Jail Warden, Firemen in the Common Recruitment 2019.
2. The case of the writ petitioner in brief:
The writ petitioner has applied for the Common Recruitment 2019 for the selection to the post of Gr.II -PC, Jail warden, Firemen and he has appeared for both the written and physical examination for the post of Gr.II Police Constable for the year 2019. He was the successful candidate in the written examination and the respondent Board has called for physical measurement test to be held on 08.11.2019. In the mean time, the petitioner met with an accident and due to fracture in his left leg, he has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
not participated in the physical test. Hence, he has filed a W.P No.31476 of 2019 before this Court seeking direction to the respondent to grant eight weeks time for his physical test and the said writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh petition after becoming physically fit. Now, the petitioner is in normal health condition and therefore, he has filed the instant writ petition.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent Board would submit that the recruitment notification was issued by the respondent Board for the year 2019 and the entire selection process was completed on 04.02.2020. Subsequently, a fresh notification was published for the aforesaid post and the selection process was also completed on 25.11.2020. He would further submit that the petitioner has approached this court very belatedly and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner on the aforesaid ground is liable to be dismissed in limini.
4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, it appears that the petitioner has not furnished the particulars of his representation made to the authorities concerned. Merely, the petitioner submitted in his affidavit that now, he is in normal health condition and therefore, he seeks for the aforesaid prayer. Prima facie, this Court finds no merits in the instant writ petition mainly on the ground that the writ petitioner has approached this Court after the delay of more than two years seeking for the aforesaid prayer and therefore, the instant writ petition is liable to be dismissed on the ground of latches.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
