ORDER
This petition has been filed for direction to direct the Juvenile Justice Board, Vellore to expedite the trial in J.J.B.No.16 of 2022.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that initially the FIR was registered in Crime No.7 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 468, 471, 420 of IPC as against the petitioner, when she was juvenile, on the allegation that in order to secure admission in medical college, she had applied using forged marksheet by making alteration to the original mark sheet in specific subjects. After completion of investigation, the respondent filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance by the Juvenile Justice Board, Vellore in J.J.B.No.16 of 2022. While pending trial, the Juvenile Justice Board once again ordered for further investigation. As ordered by the Juvenile Justice Board, the respondent conducted further investigation and yet to file final report.

Considering the above submission, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be granted. However, the respondent is directed to complete the further investigation and file the final report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
