O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petition submitted by the petitioner on 27.09.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner and his siblings.

2.Heard Mr.M.Vivek, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 23.07.1987 which was executed in the name of the father of the petitioner. His father died in the year 1988. Subsequently, the mother also died in the year 2022. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application before the respondents seeking for issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner and the other siblings. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 27.09.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
