PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the transfer order issued by the first respondent in Na.Ka.AB1/9831/2015 dated 06.05.2015 transferring the petitioner from Pernambut Range to Villupuram Circle and to quash the same.

ORDER

The order of transfer is put under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that pending the Writ Petition, the petitioner was promoted as a Forest Ranger.

3. In view of the said submission, no effective orders can be passed in this Writ Petition by interfering with the transfer order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
