For Respondents COMMON ORDER All three Writ Petitions are connected in the sense that the prayer made are similar in nature. These are cases of disciplinary action against the students, where a punishment of suspension for a period of one year has been imposed as against the students. As per the Regulations of the University, the petitioners/ students have preferred appeals on the date mentioned in each of the writ petitions. The appeals have to be considered by the appellate authority and orders are to be passed in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the respondent University will consider the appeals in accordance with law and pass orders, provided ample time is given.

3. In view thereof, these three Writ Petitions are disposed of on the following terms:- (i)The respective appeals of the petitioners shall be taken up for hearing, by giving due opportunity to the students and the appellate authority shall pass further orders, as expeditiously as possible.

(ii)In any event, the appeals shall be disposed of, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order. (iii)It is needless to mention that the petitioners shall also co-operate and appear before the appellate authority on any date as requested by the authority. No costs.
