Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971, praying to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience and non-compliance of the order of this Court made in W.P.No.9766 of 2015 dated 22.04.2019.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed by complaining that the order dated dated 22.04.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.No.9766 of 2015 has not been complied with.

2. It is submitted by both sides that the said order was put to challenge in W.A.No.297 of 2020 and the Division Bench of this Court, while confirming the order, has however, reduced the period of interest, also by granting 6 weeks time to comply with the same. It is stated that the order of the Division bench was made only on 28.02.2020.

3. When such being the factual position, I do not think that this contempt petition can be maintained any more, since the order passed in the writ petition got merged with the order passed in the writ appeal. Therefore, Page No. 2/4

this Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy before the Division Bench of this Court, if the order passed therein is not complied with, within the time stipulated.
