ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent to register a case/F.I.R., on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 08.02.2014 and investigate into the case.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that petition enquiry is pending on the complaint dated 08.02.2014 given by the petitioner. Under such circumstance, the respondent Police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is directed to expeditiously conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with law, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. If there is no offence made out, the respondent Police is entitled to close the case and serve a copy of the closure report to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
