..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the regulation 6 IV Category 1 (a) of the Tamil Nadu Municipal Public Health Service Regulation, 1970 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and consequently direct the respondent to prescribe minimum educational qualification for the post of Sanita0-ry Inspector as B.Sc (Chemistry) and Health Inspector's Course conducted by Principal, Medical College, Trivandrum or Sanitary Inspector's certificate awarded by the Director of Public Health, Bombay or Post Graduate Diploma Course in Sanitary Inspector awarded by the Gandhigram Rural Institute.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writ petition has been filed challenging the qualifications prescribed. On account of the changed circumstances the cause aroused is not exist now.
2.Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. However, it is made clear that, if any grievances exist to the writ petitioners, it is left open to them to redress the same in the manner known to law.
3.Accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
