O.P.No. 145 of 2022 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the shares left behind by the late husband of the first petitioner and father of the second petitioner by name R.Ganapathy, who died on 24.12.2019.

2. After paper publication, the petitioners were invited to tender evidence. The second petitioner G.Sivashankar examined himself as PW-1. The death certificate of father was marked as Ex.P-1 and the legal heirship certificate was marked as Ex.P-3.

3. In view of the evidence presented, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioners with power to collect the securities and to receive interests and dividends thereon and to negotiate and transfer the shares to the name of the petitioner as specified in the schedule is issued. The petitioners are directed to render accounts once in a year.
