O R D E R

The second respondent filed a counter affidavit indicating the steps already taken to comply with the order passed by this Court.

2. The Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur in her counter affidavit very clearly stated that the revenue authorities have stopped the cremation activities. Paragraph 5 of the counter reads thus: "5. It is also submitted that the petitioner is having a land adjoining to the above survey number. The newly settled people in Nallur village is using a portion of S.No.61 of Pudupair village for cremation of dead bodies without the knowledge of the Revenue authorities. The cremation area was evicted on 1.11.2014 and also the same has also been informed to the petitioner. The photo copies is submitted herewith for kind perusal.""

3. In view of the action taken by the respondents pursuant to the order passed by this Court as indicated in paragraph 5 of the counter affidavit filed by the Tahsildar and the counter

affidavit filed on behalf of the District Collector, the Contempt Petition is closed.
