Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the Inspector of Panchayats Cum District Collector, Thiruvallur District, the respondent herein, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2018 and to initiate appropriate action, and pass any further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper.

O R D E R
The petitioner, Village Panchayat Secretary, Thodugadu Village Panchayat in the Kadambathur Panchayat Union, who was kept under suspension on the charges of corruption, was subsequently reinstated into service in view of acquittal from the criminal case. On 08.12.2018, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent, requesting to issue necessary orders for treating all the period that the petitioner was out of service as 'duty period' and to accord him all the attendant benefits including all monetary benefits. As the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief.
2. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent and submits that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
