Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fifth respondent to take over the investigation in FIR No.12 of 2011 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Villupuram, the fourth respondent herein and also to initiate appropriate action as contemplated under Section 10 of the Passports Act, 1967 and file a final report before the concerned Magistrate.

ORDER

When the matter was listed for hearing on 26.04.2023, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 28.04.2023 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. Even today, i.e., on 28.04.2023, when the matter is taken up for

hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non prosecution.
