Prayer in both Contempt Petitions: These Contempt Petitions are filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 70/71 to punish the respondent for having committed contempt of Court for disobeying the common order dated 10.12.2013 and made in W.P.Nos.32451 and 32452 of 2013.

For Petitioner : Mr.M.Anandaraj (Party-in-person) in both Cont.Ps.

For Respondent : Mr.V.Subbiah in both Cont.Ps. Special Government Pleader

C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioner alleges non compliance of the final order dated 10.12.2013 made in W.P.Nos.32451 & 32452 of 2013.

2. When the matter was listed on 27.06.2014, learned Government Advocate, accepted notice and sought time to report compliance. Thereafter, the matter has been adjourned twice so as to enable the learned Special Government Pleader to get instructions. The matter is listed today and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader produced the Government Letter No.2194/j/t/2.2/20144 dated 03.07.2014, stating that petitioner's representation has been considered and it was rejected.

3. The petitioner/party-in-person, would submit that he has given reasons for the purpose of getting relief even in the affidavits filed in support of the above said writ petitions and therefore, appropriate orders may be passed.

4. However, this Court, taking into consideration of the fact that in pursuance to the orders passed in W.P.Nos.32451 & 32452 of 2013, the respondent herein has passed the order dated 03.07.2014, which was also communicated to the petitioner, is of the view that nothing

survives for adjudication in these contempt petitions, as of today. Therefore, the contempt petitions are closed. However, the petitioner/party-in-person is at liberty to challenge the above said order dated 03.07.2014 in accordance with law. No costs.
