This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondents to pass orders based on the directions issued by the 1st respondent through proceedings dated 14.07.2023 and to allot alternative lands to the petitioners. 2.Heard Mr.N.Ishtiaq Ahmed, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The grievance of the petitioners is that the lands that were owned by the petitioners was sought to be used as a path and road to the Circuit House of the Collector's Office, Krishnagiri. The petitioners were seeking for payment of compensation or for allotment of alternative lands. Considering the same, the 1st respondent through proceedings dated 14.07.2023 identified 15 cents of nanja lands behind the lands belonging to the petitioners and directed the other respondents to pass necessary orders in this regard. Since there was no progress, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted the written instructions received from the 3rd respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that the 3rd respondent is in the process of passing further orders and the 3rd respondent has sought for some time to pass orders in order to collect all the necessary records. 5.In the light of the written instructions given by the 3rd respondent, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to pass final orders based on the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 14.07.2023, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
