The Office of the Official Liquidator has filed a Report/Memorandum of Satisfaction dated 03.11.2023. Paragraph 2, 3 and 4 of the said Memorandum of Satisfaction reads as under:- "2. That Pursuant to the Order passed by the Hon'ble High Court order dated 31.07.2014 in Company Petition No.255 of 2014, the Official Liquidator attached to this Hon'ble Court was appointed as the Provisional Liquidator of M/s. First Leasing Company of India Limited (In Provisional Liquidation) having its registered office at No.749, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002 (herein after referred to as the Company in Provisional Liquidation) with direction to take charge of all the assets of the company in Provisional Liquidation.

3. The Official Liquidator submits that, the Official Liquidator had filed application dated 29.01.2018 under Section 446(2) before this Hon'ble High Court, Madras in C.A.No.154 of 2018 in C.P.No.255 of 2014 praying for an order to direct the Respondent/Debtor Company to pay the debt due amount of Rs.65,833.02 towards entire settlement along with subsequent interest @ 18% p.a. till the date of final payment. The said application came for hearing on 25.09.2023 and the Respondent Counsel seeks time to settle their dues and was adjourned to 30.10.2023. 1/3

For which the respondent had made payment of Rs.1,06,343.01 and Rs.776.55 vide Demand Draft Nos.052778 & 215825 dated 27.09.2023 & 26.10.2023 respectively towards Debt due amount along with interest for the period from 29.08.2023 to 06.10.2023, (Copy of this Office receipt are marked and annexed as AnnexureA)

That the Official Liquidator further submits that, the respondent had settled all their dues along with interest involved in this Company Application and has been fully realised, hence it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to close this C.A.No.154 of 2018 in C.P.No.255 of 2014 as fully satisfied."

2. A Compliance Memo dated 06.10.2023 has also been filed by the respondent/M/s.Sony India Private Limited.

3. The Memorandum of Satisfaction filed by the Office of the Official Liquidator dated 03.11.2023 and the Compliance Memo dated 06.10.2023 filed by the respondent stands recorded. Accordingly, the Company Application stands closed.
