This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.48 of 2016 from the file of 2nd respondent police to any other investigating agency.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already the investigation in Crime No.48 of 2016 has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferred to District Crime Branch, Cuddalore and reregistered in Crime No.5/2017. The Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Cuddalore has completed the investigation and filed the final report and the same has been taken cognizance in S.C. No.886 of 2017 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Neyveli. Therefore, the prayer sought by the petitioner in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
