.Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to issue legal heir certificate of deceased Mrs. Chinthamani by considering the petitioner representation dated 16.09.2024, in the light of W.P. (MD) No.22184 of 2021.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to issue legal heir certificate of deceased Mrs.Chinthamani by considering her representation dated 16.09.2024.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her mother's sister Mrs. Chinthamani died on 21.03.2017 without any issues. Her husband and parents were also predeceased her. The petitioner's mother and sister of the deceased namely Mrs.Rangamani also predeceased her. Therefore, according to the petitioner, she is the only Class-II legal heir survived the deceased. Therefore, she submitted a representation before the 2nd respondent seeking issuance of legal heir certificate on 16.09.2024 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.V.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.478, Revenue and Disaster Management, Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2) Section, dated 29.09.2022 and G.O.Ms.No.110, Revenue and Disaster Management, 2/4
Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2) Section, dated 13.03.2024.
4. In view of the said statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, in the light of above mentioned Government Orders.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
