ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to permit substitution of the name of the petitioner second wife, Tmt.Manorama, as nominee in place of the deceased first wife Tmt. Chandramani for the purpose of family pension based on the petitioner representation dated 07.10.2022 and fixed time framed.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2022 within a specified time.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after providing reasonable opportunity to the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
