Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for 1/4

issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2023 in pursuance to the communication of the 1st Respondent dated 04.01.2024 and thereby consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd Respondents to implement the 7th Pay Commission and other incidental monetary benefits which the petitioner is entitled to receive.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2023 seeking implementation of 7th Pay Commission.

2. The petitioner was appointed as B.T. Assistant (Maths) in the 4th respondent's school. During the year 2000, his service was regularized and he has been continuously working for the past 23 years. However, the senior most teaching staffs were not recognized and promoted as Headmaster by the 4th respondent. However, the 4th respondent resorted to run the institution by temporarily appointing Headmasters. That apart, from 2/4

the year 2017, as per 7th Pay commission, the petitioner and other staffs were not sanctioned any benefits. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation to the 2nd and 3rd respondents and the same was pending on the file of the 2nd and 3rd respondents.

3. Considering, the above facts and circumstances, the 2nd and 3rd respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
