ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioners, praying to quash the FIR in Crime No.207 of 2019 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that even in before filing this quash petition, the 1st respondent completed the investigation in Crime No.207 of 2019 and filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sendurai. Whereas, this petition to quash FIR was filed only on 23.01.2020 and this Court, by order, dated 28.01.2020, directed the 1st respondent not to file the final report till 21.02.2020 only. Now the the final report has been filed after 21.02.2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sendurai and the same was taken cognizance vide C.C.No.58 of 2020 and it is pending for trial.

3.Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has virtually become infructuous. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
