ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 21.08.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of individual patta in his name by sub-dividing the property.

When the matter came up for hearing on 28.02.2025, this Court passed the following order :- P. Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for respondent.

2. The petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the property situated in Survey No.301/1S (old No.301/2A). On going through the proceedings of the RDO dated 08.09.2018, it is seen that the RDO has directed the patta to be restored in the name of Annammal and her husband Perumal for 301/1A, 301/1A1 and 301/2B. There is no reference to 304/2A (new No.301/1S). Hence, the learned Additional Government Pleader shall get necessary clarification in this regard and report before this Court

3. Post this case at the end of the motion list on 14.03.2025. 3.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the claim made by the petitioner will be considered by the respondent within the time stipulated

by this Court.

In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
