The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the 1st respondent/the Insurance Ombudsman, Teynampet, Chennai to consider her application dated 30.09.2021 and dispose the same expeditiously.
2. Pending writ petition, the petitioner has received a summon from the Ombudsman posting the application of the petitioner on 22.02.2022. Thus, the cause of action stands resolved by issuance of the summon.
3. It would thus, suffice to direct R1 to hear the petitioner on 22.02.2022 and pass orders expeditiously and in any event within a period of three weeks from the date of hearing, taking note of all relevant and available rules, regulations and guidelines.
