ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 either to reconvey or pass an award of compensation for the land in possession of the land in T.S.No.18/3, Block No.16, Kalikundram Village, Presently Door No.70, 2nd Avenue, Indira Nagar, Chennai - 600 020.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that after the disposal of the Special Leave Petition in S.L.P © No.32546 of 2015 on the file of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the petitioner gave a representation dated 27.01.2016 to the respondents.

3. Mr.N.R. Elango, learned Senior Counsel, appearing for the petitioner, submitted that inspite of the representation given to the respondents on 27.01.2016, the respondents have not disposed of the same.

4. Mr.R.M. Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the first respondent, submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the representation given by the petitioner on 27.01.2016 has not yet been disposed of by the respondents, I direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
