PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 3rd respondent with No.6895/LAS/Estt./E2/94 dated 21.04.2006 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner and regularise the services of the petitioner with all other consequential benefits with effect from 08.11.2000, the date on which the juniors of the petitioner have been regularised.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 3rd respondent with No.6895/LAS/Estt./E2/94 dated 21.04.2006 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner and regularise the services of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner with all other consequential benefits with effect from 08.11.2000, the date on which the juniors of the petitioner have been regularised.

2.At the hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents handed over the communication dated 21.03.2019 stating that the petitioner R.Ravindranathan, Daily Rated Casual Labourer of the Pondicherry Legislative Assembly Secretariat expired on 02.07.2018 and the newspaper clipping in regard to the obituary of R.Ravindranathan is enclosed. 3.In view of the above facts, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
