ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order of the second respondent dated 21.04.2015 in and by which he has not included the petitioner's name in the panel of Assistant Executive Engineer and consequently direct the respondents to grant him further promotion as Executive Engineer with all attendant and monetary benefits.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as an Assistant Executive Engineer on Adhoc basis. He would submit that despite being qualified in all respects, his services were not regularized by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner moved this Court by filing W.P.No.11697 of 2013 and obtained interim orders from this Court. Meanwhile, a panel list was published on 21.04.2015 proposing to fill 2/5

up regular vacancies in the next higher cadre of Executive Engineer. In this list, the petitioner's name was not included, whereas juniors to him have been included. Challenging the said order, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. It is informed that the petitioner has retired from the service and is receiving provisional pension in the same scale of pay of Assistant Executive Engineer. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.

4. Recording the above statement, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 08.07.2024 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes srn To 3/5
