ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to pass final orders pursuant to the Proceedings dated 27.12.2023 bearing Na.Ka.3998/2023/Aa4 issued by 2nd respondent directing the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 08.01.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

According to the petitioner, the property comprised in Survey No.355/3, measuring an extent of 59 Cents, situated at Medavakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District (hereinafter referred to as "subject property") originally belonged to petitioner's mother viz., Late Mrs.Kasiammal. After the demise of petitioner's mother, petitioner inherited the subject property. While so, when the petitioner approached 2nd respondent to transfer the Patta of subject property which stood in the name of petitioner's mother to his name, he was informed by 2nd respondent that 2/6
Patta of subject property stands in the name of one Mrs.K.Bala W/o. Harimuthiah vide Patta No.189. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a Representation dated 25.08.2023 before 1st respondent, requesting to cancel the Patta of subject property which stands in the name of said Mrs.K.Bala. Subsequent to the submission of petitioner's Representation, 2nd respondent vide Proceedings dated 27.12.2023 bearing Na.Ka.3998/2023/Aa4, directed the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 08.01.2024, pursuant to which, on 08.01.2024, petitioner appeared for enquiry along with all relevant documents and 2nd respondent also verified the documents produced by the petitioner. However, 2nd respondent has not taken any action on the petitioner's Representation dated 25.08.2023. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that 2nd respondent would consider the petitioner's Representation dated 25.08.2023 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. The above submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view thereof, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's Representation dated 25.08.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, Mrs.K.Bala and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy of this order without waiting for the receipt of a certified copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
