ORDER

In connection with an accident, one member of the petitioner/Management herein who was a Driver, was subjected to a departmental action and ultimately through punishment order dated 07.11.2002, he was imposed with a punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of two years. punishment before the Labour Court in I.D.No.56 of 2008 was allowed vide Award dated 09.04.2011 and the punishment was set aside.

2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that the member of the petitioner/Manangement has reached the age of superannuation and he was also permitted to retire. All the monetary benefits have been disbursed to him and he is receiving the pension also.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the punishment has also been implemented.

4. As such, no valid orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
