Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer retrospectively with effect from 11.05.1988 on par with his juniors with all monetary benefits and arrears and other consequential service benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer retrospectively with effect from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.05.1988 on par with his juniors with all monetary benefits and arrears and other consequential service benefits.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On an earlier occasion, this Court directed to issue fresh notice to the correct address of the petitioner as given by the learned Special Government Pleader and the same is served to the petitioner. Neither the petitioner is present before this Court nor he has appeared through the counsel.

3. Even after serving several notices on the petitioner, there is no representation on behalf of him. Accordingly, since the matter is pending from the year 2006, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
