This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.141 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court), Ambattur against the petitioner filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1882.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Counsel for the respondent submits that the Trial Court has disposed of the main case on 19.11.2021 and the case has ended in conviction of the petitioner. In such view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
