Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to absorb the petitioners herein as Mazdoors, Assessors II Grade and Helper cum Meter Reader in accordance with their qualifications from the date on which their juniors were absorbed as per the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 01.03.2008 with all other service and other attendant monetary benefits with arrears of pay . ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that, during the pendency of this Writ petition, the petitioners were absorbed as early as during October 2012. Learned counsel for the petitioners also ratifies the same.
2. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that, nothing survives for further adjudication and accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
