The petitioner challenges summon dated 15.01.2021 issued in terms of Section 108 of the Customs Act, 1962, calling upon him to attend the office of the Superintendent of Customs for enquiry in connection with seizure of Korean Cigarettes. The petitioner was directed to appear on 04.02.2021.

2. No case is made out to establish that the issuing Officer has no jurisdiction to issue the impugned statutory summon. I thus find no reason to interfere with the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner will respond to summons as and when issued by the authorities and appear before them for enquiry, to be conducted in accordance with law. This writ petition is dismissed. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed. No costs.
