O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2023 seeking issuance of Patta in his name for the property comprised in Survey No.14/5, Old No.1/640, New No.1/639, Aringar Anna Nagar, 8th Street, Neelankarai, Thoraipakkam, Chennai - 600 097, measuring an extent of 600 sq.ft.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner made representation dated 13.09.2023 before the second respondent for issuance of Patta in his name for the property comprised in Survey No.14/5, Old No.1/640, New No.1/639, Aringar Anna Nagar, 8th Street, Neelankarai, Thoraipakkam, Chennai - 600 097. Since there is no response from the second respondent, he has filed the present writ petition.

It is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the property in S.No.14/5 has been sub-divided into three subdivisions as S.No.14/5A, S.No.14/5B and S.No.14/5C and Pattas have also been issued for the sub-divisions to the respective parties. Further he submitted that the petitioner is an encroacher.

5. In view of the above facts and the submissions made, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief sought for in this writ petition. The Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. 06.02.2024 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
