The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to take action on the unauthorised construction sought to be put up in T.S.No.2197, Ward 2, Block 50, Singer Koil Street, Padasalai Thottam, Srirangam within Trichy Municipal Corporation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the petitioner has also filed a civil suit in O.S.No.2124 of 2004 on the file of III Additional District Munsif Court, Trichy, for the very same relief sought for in the writ petition and the said suit was also decreed on 07.02.2007. Since the petitioner has already got the remedy in O.S.No.2124 of 2004, the present writ petition is closed. No costs.
