C.M.A.No.2222 of 2023 and C.M.P.No. 21343 of 2023 SUNDER MOHAN, J.

There shall be an order of Interim stay on the execution of the Award on condition that the petitioner / Transport Corporation deposits the 50% Award amount with proportionate interest awarded by the Tribunal from the date of petition till the date of deposit to the credit of MCOP.No.1058 of 2016 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the stay will stand automatically vacated without any further reference to this Court.

2. On such deposit being made, the Tribunal shall deposit the said amount to the credit of C.M.A.No.2222 of 2023 in Indian Bank, in a Fixed Deposit, initially for a period of one year and renewable thereafter, till the disposal of the appeal, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
