This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for having committed the contempt of court by willfully disobeying the order of this court dated 24.10.2018 made in W.P.No.26809 of 2018.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent (TNHB) submitted that the compensation amount has been paid to the petitioner. He has also produced a Xerox copy of the proceedings in Letter No.LA.1/LA-28A/2017 dated 05.03.2019 addressed to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Erode. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also accepted the above position.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this contempt petition for further adjudication and the same is accordingly closed.
