This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to first respondent to take suitable departmental as well as criminal action as against the erring officials by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2022 within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, it is an association established for the purpose of redressing the grievances of the consumers and to monitor the Government Welfare Schemes relating to the consumers.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that there are large scale of misappropriation in Crop Insurance reimbursement at Vadakarai Village, Thiruvarur Taluk and District. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.11.2022 to the first respondent mentioning various irregularities in 2/4
the implementation of Crop Insurance Schemes. The main grievance of the petitioner is that though he submitted a representation to District Collector /first respondent on 08.11.2022, so far the same has not been considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the limited prayer in this writ petition without giving any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation dated 08.11.2022 and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
