O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the father of the detenue A.S.Raksha seeking direction to the respondents herein to produce the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Today, when the matter was called, none appears for the petitioner. Even on the earlier occasion, i.e., on 05.11.2015, when the detenue was produced before this Court, there was no representation for the petitioner. The detenue was produced before this Court on 05.11.2015 and this Court had passed a detailed order, which reads as follows:

"This Habeas Corpus Petition is taken up for hearing out of turn, as the detenue has been secured by the respondent - police. When the matter was called, none appears for the petitioner.

2. The detenue, Raksha was produced before this Court and she came along with her husband Pradesh Kumar. She states that she got married on 20.07.2015 and it is an intercaste marriage, on account of which, her parents are opposing it. She further states that they are living in hiding and she is in family way.

3. It is seen that the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.188 of 2015 on 21.07.2015 for woman missing and after securing the detenue, she was produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Vaniyambadi on 23.07.2015, who has also recorded the statement fom the detenue.

4. In such circumstances, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Vellore, to ensure the safety of the couple, since it is an intercaste marriage. The presence of the detenue is dispensed with for future hearings.

List the matter on 18.11.2015.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
