Prayer in both W.Ps.:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.1453/2003/A9, dated 28.03.2003, signed on 10.04.2003 and quash the same and to direct the respondents to promote the petitioners to the post of Winch

Operator in the second respondent temple in terms of the Resolution No.2709, dated 29.07.2000.

2. On 02.09.2003, this Court has passed the following order in W.P.M.P.Nos.17176 and 17177 of 2003 in W.P.Nos.13700 and 13701 of 2003.

"It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that during the pendency of the writ petitions, the respondents directed these two petitioners to be appointed to the post of Winch Operator. Recording the above statement of the learned counsel for the petitioners, I am of the view that in view of the subsequent

development, there is no necessity for passing any interim order as prayed for in these writ petitions. Therefore, the W.P.M.Ps. are closed."

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners fairly submitted that the respondents had promoted the petitioners as Winch Operators and the said fact has also been recorded in the earlier order dated 02.09.2003 passed by this Court which has been extracted above.

4. In the light of the above, both these Writ Petitions are closed as infructuous.
