Mr.K.T.Devendran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 2nd respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner, being aggrieved by an order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 10.08.2017, rejecting his request for replacing the vehicle, preferred an appeal before the first respondent Appellate Tribunal in Appeal No.87 of 2017.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said appeal is not yet disposed of.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide.
