PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records from the file of the respondents in Resolution No.845/98 dated 22.10.1998 as far as fixing the rate of advertisement tax for the hoardings in the City of Chennai is concerned and the consequential demand issued by the 2nd respondent in Demand notice No.RDC.AT/1044/99 dated 23.10.2002 and quash the same.
