The petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and his men, to resume and complete the civil works on the side walls of the house, bearing Door No.2/29, CPM Street, Pudupet, Chennai - 2, by using the adjacent Government land in S.No.1080.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-police and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the parties were called before the police station and enquiry was conducted and the parties themselves submitted that they will resolve the dispute before the civil court.
4. Since C.S.R. No.457 of 2016 has been assigned and the same has been received by the petitioner, the respondent police is directed to give protection, especially to the case mentioned in the petition, at the cost of the petitioner.
