This petition has been filed seeking to call for the records culminating in Crime No.22 of 2018, pending investigation on the file of the first respondent police and to quash the same. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court permits the petitioner to furnish the particulars before the law enforcing agency to prove his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
innocence and issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation within a time frame. He also submitted that the petitioner was already arrested and enlarged on bail and prayed this Court that the petitioner may not be harassed during investigation.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent concede to the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, would further submit that the investigation will be completed within the time frame fixed by this Court. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2018, without harassing the petitioner and after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the law enforcing agency for early completion of the investigation. 5.This criminal original petition is accordingly disposed of.
