Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to number the petition filed on 03.11.2015 pending on the file of the Joint Commissioner of HR & CE, Coimbatore.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has submitted the petition as early as on 03.11.2015, the same has not yet been numbered by the respondent. 4.Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to number the petition submitted on 03.11.2015 within a time frame.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to number the petition filed on 03.11.2015 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the case of the petition having been returned for rectifying some defects, the petitioner shall represent the papers forthwith and in such circumstances, the petition shall be numbered within two weeks from the date of representation of the petition by the petitioner. 6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
