A.No.1916 of 2024 in C.S.No.339 of 2020 A.No.1916 of 2024 in C.S. No.339 of 2020 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1032 to adopt the written statement of the 8th defendant by the defendants 4, 7, 9 and 10.

In the affidavit filed in support of the Judge's Summons, it had been stated that there was an order passed in Application No.3105 of 2020 which was taken up in appeal in O.S.A.No.88 of 2021 and further applications have been filed. The 8th defendant had filed his written statement, but these applicants namely 4th, 7th, 9th and 10th defendants have not filed their written statement. They align themselves with the written statement already filed by the 8th defendant. In view of all the judicial procedures which were pending, there was a delay in filing the adoption memo to adopt the written statement already filed by the 8th defendant.

The learned Senior Counsel for the plaintiff was also heard, who stated that there is no strict objection raised by the plaintiff so far as this application is concerned.

Taking all the factors into consideration, the Application stands allowed and Adoption Memo of D4, D7, D9 and D10 adopting the written statement of D8 may be taken on record.
