ORDER

Mr.K.Paul Kumaresan, who served as Extension Officer (Small Savings) in the office of the Block Development Officer (VP), Panchayat Union, Kaveripakkam, Vellore District, has come to this Court questioning the impugned order dated 31.05.2007 bearing Na.Ka.No.A2/1879/2006 passed by the Block Development Officer, (VP), Kaveripakkam, the first respondent herein and to quash the same.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that nothing survives in the writ petition, since the petitioner already reached the age of superannuation and the amount of Rs.19,700/- fixed as joint liability was also recovered from the retiral benefits of the petitioner.

3. Recording his statement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
